2011 kicked-off early and at a great speed. For a moment I thought of my new years resolutions,the year already started and threw a cold bucket if water in my face,saying wake up 2011 is HERE!!
Indeed 2011 is a year full of great expectations, plans,dreams,exciting times ahead and all I could do was do prepare for it in a short time span.
The harvest season was approaching quickly and like every winemaker you have to know what you want to do this harvest that is different,the same,daring or innovative. You have to look back at 2010 harvest and reflect back on what was the good you can keep and the bad you should never consider doing again.
When the harvest start everything in your life comes to a stand-still and you focus on your work. You get the chance to have one shot at creating something magnificent by using the grapes the nature offered.
Every harvest has it's own challenges and that is what makes harvest time so exciting. You don't know what to expect!!
